As a part of the introspective answer, we realized that it’s time we go through a fundamental change in our way of thinking about the role of the company in the eCommerce industry. It’s time for CloudCart 2.0. This is Why “Partners First” was conceived – a new direction in our growth as a leader not only in Bulgaria, but in Europe as a whole. That’s exactly what we will be discussing here.
What Does "Partners First" Mean
Partners First is an entirely new approach which will structure a better future for us as a company, our partners as contributors to our platform, and the success of our end-users – the merchants for whom we’ve worked so hard the past 6 years.
It is being built on what is already there – the existing expert ecosystem with currently more than 50 agencies, freelancers and experts providing their services to our merchants. This new outlook for the future of the company have the goal to better and directly address the problems and issues of our end-users - the eCommerce entrepreneurs and merchants.
Our primary focus for every change made, whether it's about integrating new features or optimizing processes on the platform, is to carefully consider how it will impact YOU - our valued merchant. Your needs and experience are our top priority in all our endeavors.
On the most fundamental level, this new direction will open-up our platform to certified expert individuals and companies who can contribute to its development and growth. As the name suggests, “Partners First” aims to turn the company’s attention to its current and future partners, experts, and specialists and to provide them with a direct link to our users… and vise-versa.
We believe that in this way our partners can provide their well-earned expertise quicker and in a more convenient way to avoid unnecessary chatter. It helps you, the user, and the specialist – get straight to the point and to understand and solve the issues which are keeping your CloudCart online store from reaching its full potential.
To keep it straight and narrow, this change is:
- Opening up CloudCart for technological contributors thus encouraging outside app development;
- Providing direct contact between merchant and specialists that can help them power-up their eCommerce operations and results;

- Shifting the mindset of the whole company that will help us evolve into a growing and potent ecosystem.

How is “Partners First” Different than the Current "Professional Ecosystem of Experts"
Our current model with the ecosystem of professionals and experts is a fantastic idea which we absolutely adore, however, it is not what we’d want it to be in the future.
In its old state the system can be represented as such:
A pool of 50+ experts providing different services - from marketing and SEO, to professional photography and even accounting for large and small stores. The issue is that all of the communication between the end-user and the expert passes through CloudCart and its representatives.
We believe our current partners model is lacking because:
- Communication takes far too much time and resource;
- Does not allow for quick, lightning fast store scalability;
- Prevents merchants directly reaching out to experts in the ecosystem;
- Cannot handle high-demand efficiently.
With CloudCart 2.0 we will resolve all of these issues and will be opening up communications between experts and merchants. We will:
- Eliminate boundaries of communication;
- Facilitate faster and sustainable revenue growth of CC online stores;
- Make it easier for merchants to find the expertise they need;
- Make it far more profitable for merchants and experts to work together;
- Create a community board for fairly rating certified experts.

We will be focusing on providing small and large merchants alike the ability to receive the best possible service so they can reduce the cost of running their store. Along with this we are also focusing on full automation of merchandising, logistics, inventory keeping, and delivery processes which will streamline operational costs by reducing the need for human involvement.
What Makes This Change Necessary
The answer is simple - growth. Everyone wants to grow and this is the right way to do it – through a community of experts who already have the right answers. Our merchants come to us with problems and we always try to help. However, we don’t always have the right answer straight away - that’s not fair to them, nor is it fair to us.
It’s time to start thinking as “CloudCart the Ecosystem” and not “CloudCart the Company”.
It’s not about how to solve the problem, but more so about WHO can solve it.
At the end of the day we are a SaaS platform which provides well-built, flexible, and functional tools so you can build-up your online store and eCommerce business the way you want to. We’d like our clients to grow. Тhis starts with several steps – the first one being setting up an efficient store and inventory management system – this we already have.

Users get far more integrations, direct solutions to issues which are not in our wheelhouse and it’s all made safe through our vetting system for developers and eCommerce agencies.
How Can CloudCart Users Benefit From This? How Will this Affect Their Business?
Our users are already benefiting from this new change. We have been slowly implementing it through our Beta testing phase with the help of some of our partners and we are getting fantastic results.

We’re opening up our technology to competent and certified partners and companies which would like to provide integration for our software in the form of an application. There will be two distinct categories – certified experts and non certified experts.

Our first and most important priority is to treat our partners fairly, allowing them to provide their services through the CloudCart partner program, without this affecting their bottom-line negatively.
